Funding Options (Accessing Our Services)
Active Flow Rehab provides a range of assessments and reports to support your health needs and funding requirements
If you’re an NDIS participant, aged care client, or someone who needs documentation for a health plan, we’ve got you covered.
-
We are a Registered NDIS Provider under the Improved Daily Living category. This means if you or your family member has NDIS funding (whether Self-managed, Plan-managed, or NDIA-managed), you can use it for our exercise physiology services. We’ll help you navigate the process and provide any reports or service agreements needed. Tip: Exercise physiology can fit under therapy supports to help you achieve goals like improving mobility, health, or community participation.
-
If you have a Home Care Package (HCP) you may be able to use those funds for exercise physiology sessions. Improved strength, balance and fitness contribute to safer living at home – something aged care funding strongly supports. We can liaise with your aged care provider to integrate our services into your care plan.
-
You might be eligible for Medicare-funded sessions under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously called EPC plan) from your GP. Typically, this provides 5 allied health sessions per year which can include exercise physiology. Ask your doctor if you qualify – if so, they can give you a referral and we will bulk bill or reduce the fee for those sessions as per Medicare guidelines. (Note: Medicare rebates usually cover part of the session cost; we’ll explain any gap fees beforehand.)
-
Many private health funds in Australia offer rebates for exercise physiology sessions (typically under “Allied Health” or “Extras” cover). Check with your insurer if you’re covered. We can provide invoices with the necessary provider details for you to claim your rebate.
-
Of course, you can also pay for services directly. We keep our rates fair and competitive. If you’re investing in your health out-of-pocket, we’ll work with you to ensure you get the most value from each session. We also offer package deals or group session discounts in some cases – just ask.

· We’re proud to offer low-cost community exercise classes, co-funded by the City of Gold Coast, to support active and healthy living for all. These programs are designed to help locals stay strong, mobile, and connected — without the need for a referral or NDIS plan. Whether you’re looking to build balance, stay active after an injury, or simply enjoy moving with others, our group classes are a welcoming, affordable option.
Class times and locations available on our Facebook page.
We believe everyone should have access to quality exercise physiology
